Eve Del Monte, LCPC is a licensed professional counselor and the owner of Towson Mental Health, a group practice focused on providing therapy to children, teens and families. Eve is licensed to practice counseling in both Maryland and Virginia. Additionally, she is an approved supervisor for graduate mental health practitioners working towards their licensure in the state of Maryland.
Eve earned her Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Studies and Sociology from Vanderbilt University. She then moved to Washington, DC to study at George Washington University and earned her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Grief, Loss and Life Transitions. It was during her graduate internship at MSA Child and Adolescent, a partial hospitalization program in Columbia, MD, that she realized her passion for working with teenagers. After earning her Masters, Eve became one of the lead therapists at the Inova Kellar Center, a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program for teenagers in Fairfax, VA. While at the Kellar Center, Eve focused her training on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Therapy. Eve is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
In 2016 Eve moved to Baltimore and founded Towson Mental Health with the goal of creating a safe place for children, teens and their families to find support, hope, and healing. Eve offers individual, group, and family therapy on an outpatient basis. While she has experience in treating a variety of mental health disorders, she specializes in treating Anxiety and Depression. Eve uses an integrated model of therapeutic strategies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She believes that each person is unique and works with the individual to find which strategies will work best for that person.
