Welcome to the practice of Allison Bailey M.D. I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist committed to the delivery of high-quality, personalized care for individuals seeking to minimize mental suffering and optimize wellness.

About Dr. Bailey

I am a New York native who now calls Baltimore home. I graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies. I received my doctor of medicine from The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and completed my residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital where I served as chief resident during my final year of training. I am a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, as well as a member of the Maryland Psychiatric Society and the American Psychiatric Association.

In addition to my clinical work, I have expertise in education and leadership. I am an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. I develop courses and teach learners in both the undergraduate medical and graduate medical education settings.
